I’m disappointed by my recent customer service experience with Jackson’s. I purchased a climbing hydrangea from them in December while it was dormant. I cared for it appropriately and waited through spring for it to break dormancy, but it never showed signs of life. When I reached out, I wasn’t necessarily expecting a guaranteed refund, especially understanding that live plant policies can vary, but I did expect a more thoughtful conversation. Instead, the response felt dismissive. I was told very directly that they would not provide a refund, and before really discussing the situation, it was implied that the issue was likely due to how I cared for the plant. There wasn’t much effort to help troubleshoot or diagnose beyond a scratch test, and I was simply told they “definitely did not sell a dead plant.” They did offer a discount on another hydrangea, which I appreciate, but that didn’t really address the concern. What disappointed me most was the overall customer service experience. I’ve had great experiences with other nurseries (both larger retailers and smaller local garden centers) where staff take time to help troubleshoot plant issues and stand behind the customer experience, even when formal warranties are limited. I’m sharing this simply so others know what to expect regarding post-purchase support.

Wonderful selection of plants, pottery, and fountains!

Drove 20 minutes and shopped the fountains for 20 minutes. So many questions but no one to speak to. Left frustrated.

They have a good plant selection. This is the place you want to visit if you need a great water fountain and need to decorate your outdoors. Friendly staff, but items are a bit pricey.
