Need to start planting texas native perennials. Does Waltons have teXAS native plants?

Hi Jo, We carry several different native plants for Texas. Are you looking for anything in particular?

If I cut twelve inches off the top of a tree will new branches begin where the stem was cut?

Typically from the sides/around that branch; not from the end of where you cut it. Be sure you're not pruning your trees during their peak growth season. Pruning is best done in early Fall or early Spring. The colder temperatures help prevent disease.

Do they have lime trees and how much are they?

They have so many trees, so many varieties...and the succulents, the succulents are just amazing! This is by far my favorite nursery in all the DFW!

Beautiful, extensive variety of plants & my favorite gift shop in Dallas! Staff are knowledgeable & professional - committed to excellent work. Waltons did all the landscaping for our house 22 years ago and we are currently updating & looking forward to installation. I have never had good luck with anyone besides Waltons for our landscaping needs.

During the fall/spring/summer planting season we find ourselves at Walton’s every other weekend it seems like :). They have everything our yard needs and, a great variety of plants and veggies. Chuck has even helped with some excellent suggestions for our front flower bed. The staff is accommodating and always so kind. Happy 40th Walton’s!!!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Walton’s Garden Center! Even though they didn’t have the specific items I originally came in for, the customer service more than made up for it. The young lady at the front office was incredibly helpful, she took the time to check their system and let me know they wouldn’t be receiving the products anytime soon, which I really appreciated. While I didn’t find what I was initially looking for, I still ended up leaving with a bunch of great items thanks to their fantastic selection. A gentleman in the garden area (wearing a sky-blue shirt and a baseball cap) was especially kind, knowledgeable, and eager to help. They also have plenty of parking, a great variety of gifts, water fountains, and beautiful pots in all sizes. Overall, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the store itself has a lot to offer. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Walton’s Garden Center!
